PJM - 2 manual, 18 rank
In
celebration of this historic congregation's 225th anniversary
in 1998, Patrick J. Murphy & Associates, Inc. was commissioned
to design and construct a new instrument of 15 stops and
18 ranks. The existing chambers that were prepared for in
this 1960 building, were visually enhanced by matching flamed
copper façade pipes comprising the Great Principal
and Pedal Choralbass Stops. The façade design was
accomplished by Steven A. Protzman after the concept envisioned
by Patrick J. Murphy. This congregation was the first in
the area to own a pipe organ in 1806 and we are proud to
be a part of their fine musical heritage.
